When I try and install some elements from SQL Server (just the client components) from "SW_CD_SQL_Svr_Standard_Edtn_2005_W32_English_1_32_bit_MLF_X11-57658" The install goes through the whole process and at the end says there was an error - event viewer reports install successful but the app does not exist - the error says: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup ------------------------------ There was an unexpected failure during the setup wizard. You may review the setup logs and/or click the help button for more information. OS is XP with SP3 running the latest Parrallels.
