Each time I install an update to Parallels (now 9, but happened before), the following error message pops up during the installation of Parallels Tools for Windows: "c:\windows\system32\d3d8thk.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error" Until now, I have ignored the error message and nothing has gone wrong because of it. Apparently, it is a fairly common Windows error message, but I have been unable to find on the Internet any way to deal with the message. Should I simply continue to ignore it?
