I am trying to install microsoft access on my parallels desktop for mac (build 3214). I have increased the hard drive space to 18000 mb and have plenty of room on my mac. I keep getting the error message:

THE INSTALL LOCATION YOU SELECTED DOES NOT HAVE 1456 MB FREE SPACE. FREE UP SPACE FROM THE SELECTED INSTALL LOCATION OR CHOOSE A DIFFERENT INSTALL LOCATION

I have restarted the mac and parallels...

    Any help is appreciated.

I figured it out... you must format the drive (duh), but in XP you format a drive by clicking on the "partition" button (urghh)
