I'm using my boot camp partition on my macbook to run paralllels. Whenever I attach a firewire disk to my macbook and then launch parallels and try to start the virtual machine i get the "this is not a standard boot camp configuration, one or more partitions are found" error. Interestingly enough if i launch paralells but do not start my virtual machine, then connect my firewire disk, and then start the virtual machine I don't get any errros and everything goes smoothly. The firewire disk is HFS+ formatted and contains only one partition. Any ideas why this happens or is it simply a "bug"?
