So far the first two programs I have tried to run have failed miserably.

I managed to install a demo of "Torchlight" (http://www.torchlightgame.com/) successfully. After that, every time I have tried to run it, it crashes.

I have also tried "Rawr" (http://www.codeplex.com/Rawr), which does not need installation, and it also crashed right away.

What the heck is going on here? I feel like I'm missing something, but I don't know what else I need to do.

    Mappew,

Torchlight crash is due to a bug in Ogre engine that it uses. Fix will be included in the next Parallels Desktop 5 update.

We've never heard about Rawr before, will look into it. Thanks for pointing this out.

    [update]
Rawr crashes when run from network path. You most probably have shared profile enabled (this is the default) and extracted Rawr .zip archive to your desktop (which is on the network from Windows point of view).
The simplest solution would be to move Rawr folder to C:\Program Files\ and run from there.
