A month ago I purchased a new MBP. I used the wizard to copy everything over to the new mac. Now when trying to start the VM (Windows Vista Business Ultimate SP1), I get the following error message: Are you sure you want to start the virtual machine? One or more kernel components loaded on your Mac are for another version of Parallels Desktop. If you start the virtual machine now, it may work incorrectly. To solve this problem, restart your Mac. If the problem persists, reinstall Parallels Desktop. |Start the virtual machine| |Cancel| I have tried the button to start the VM anyway, but the same error message reappears. I have reinstalled PD with version 4.0.3844. It still brings up the same error message. Please help!! I have several $$ worth of single-install licensed software on this VM, and my project is closing in on its deadline! LNail
