"Error writing to the sound device" after upgrade new beta

    Sound is ok before, but after i upgrade to the new beta 1862, when windows starts, error messege appears:"Error writing to sound device, loopback device will be used".
    any idea how to fix it?

    btw, i have installed the new parallels tools. and I am running Windows xp(no sp1 and sp2)

    Have you rebooted your Mac?

    Probably a dumb question, but I noticed that parallels stuff really does not work until after a reboot.

    well, i have reboot many times. I dont think that's the cause.

    Maybe reinstalling Parallels Tools helps you.

    Same issue here.

    Happened in one of the betas as well, but in the next release it was fixed.

    Try to delete sound adapter from configuration and then add it again. Magic passes sometimes works. :)

    But, we will investigate.

    I have done all procedures that suggested above. None of them works!
