Every Linux install stays black after boot!

    Hi,

    After a Linux install everting goes good. When i boot for the second time de screen stays black. I try K, X and Ubuntu...
    My machine is a MacPro Quad 2.6 Ghz with 2 GB RAM and ATI X1900.
