    Hi guys,

tonight I've installed the latest update of Parallels on both of my machines.

On my MacMini there was no problem for Parallels finding the available Win XP VM and the Linux VM. The normal selection dialog starts and offers the two VMs.

On my MacBook the existing Win XP VM is not found by Parallels and it starts automatically with the VM installation procedure. The path of my VM is /user/documents/Parallels/WinXP/.

Do you have any idea what I can do with my Parallels installed on my MacBook? Changing the settings (path to VM) does not help.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Best, Andreas!

The simplest would be to drag & drop your VM definition file (.pvs) to Parallels Desktop application icon. Parallels should open that VM and the next time it will have it listed in its VM explorer.

Also, open Parallels preferences and adjust the root path to your VMs according to your needs.
