    Hello,

I am very new to Parallels and have only been using it a few days. One thing that I noticed right off the bat that is a major annoyance is that I need to click twice on my second monitor to have it recognized. I am using a MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion and Parallels 8. I have my laptop's screen as the main screen and my Windows desktop is extended on an external monitor. It seems that I have to click once on the external monitor side to get Parallels to "recognize" that's the monitor I want to use. And then click a second time to actually be able to use it - i.e. type anything in an application that is being displayed on the external monitor.

Just wondering if there is an option that would fix this? Is it by design? It seems weird for me to have to do this. I am comparing Parallels and VMWare Fusion to see what the differences are and which I like best. I noticed VMWare does not require the extra click. I am not trying to say one is better than the other, as I am still very new to using both. But considering how often I use my external monitor, this extra click can get very annoying very fast. So I just wanted to see if there is a way to get Parallels to use an external monitor with just the one mouse click?

    Thanks!
