Hi all. I am having issues where my Western Digital external hard drives will lock up when transferring data. The data will start transferring perfect and then all of a sudden the transfer speed will drop to zero and file explorer will lock up. I have to shut down Parallels and restart. The issues has happened in both Parallels 12 and 13. Am using Windows 10 and both Mac OS Sierra and Mac OS High Sierra. There is not a specific file(s) that it stalls on. Will work sometime and then other times will stall. I even bought a brand new hard drive and it did the same thing. Also does it with my PNY flash drive. When I am logged in via bootcamp (Windows only) there is no issue. I am using a MacBook Pro Retina 15 inch mid 2012. I also have the issue with a MacBook Pro Retina 15 inch late 2013. Hard drives are in NTFS format. Any suggestions?
Hi @Michael1, we would suggest you running Windows 10 virtual machine in Safe mode and keep us posted the results.
