Howdy, wanting to know if Parallels support external thunderbolt enclosures like the Akitio Node range, or Sonnet eGPU to connect to Win10 Creators under macOS High Sierra, not for GPU but for 10/40GbE and external SSD PCIe cards which sometimes only have Win10 drivers, high end fibre networking cards like Mellanox Connect4X for example.

I know this post is old, but I believe since then Apple is making announcements towards external GPU enclosures that are predominantly thunderbolt, so I'm hoping things are moving in the right direction . . .

A bit late to the party, but I actually have the same problem and was wondering if you found a solution. I have a Razer Core X case that I want to use in my virtual Windows using Parallels Desktop on my Macbook Pro. I see the Thunderbolt 3 device in my Mac connections, however I cannot channel it through to my virtual Windows. Any recommendations?

Hi, indeed, Parallels Desktop supports Thunderbolt data storage disks but not other Thunderbolt devices (eGPUs are PCIe devices which cannot be connected directly to VM). However, you can use the resources of your eGPU in VM, please check these instructions
Please let us know if it's not that case and you have any additional questions.
