Hey guys, enjoy the product's concept, however I'm having some problems. I read through the forum and I've done the most obvious troubleshooting efforts. I have installed the latest beta (3094) on my MBP with 1gb RAM running Boot camp. I told it to boot using boot camp and things seem to work fine with no errors, except everything is dog slow, I'm talking 30-45 seconds to load any program under windows with some just locking up completely. I have verified that VT-x is enabled, I have 708 MB of memory reserved, 384MB memory dedicated to the VM. Any ideas?
You are likely reserving way, way too much memory on a 1 Gig machine. In effect you're only allowing OSX to have 300 MB for it's own use. If you've ever used OSX on a 512 MB machine while multitasking, you'd know that's simply won't do. On your config, you probably need to lower your reserve to 384 and your VM to 256. This should speed things up, but it likely still won't scream. For best performance you need 1.5M - 2M, unless you're doing very lightweight work in both OSX and Windows simultaneously.
