I have a macbook Pro, running Mac OS X 10.6.7, 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, 500 GB SSD. I am running Parallels 6.0.11994. Windows 7 was running great until I updated with SP1 - The update proceeded smoothly to the reboot point, but when the desktop came up, it was corrupt and the window frozen before showing the update to be complete. Launching now results in "Attempting to boot from sata" and that's all. On the mac side, I had Time Machine turned off. Is there any way to recover this virtual machine, or will I have to install again. If I install again, is it recommended to remove the prior installation first, and what is the best way to do that? Any help appreciated.
