Not sure if this has been answered in another thread, but I've been searching and couldn't find a solution. This is a continuation of this thread http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=31190 where Parallels wouldn't let you use the Boot Camp partition due to lack of privileges.

I've figured out how to get around it, and unfortunately it has to do with how Windows 7 is installed in the setup process which, for me, meant reinstalling Windows. When you've gone through the Bootcamp setup, your computer will restart and go through the Windows setup. When you choose the partition to install it on, you shouldn't be able to install onto the existing partition set up by the Boot camp setup without either erasing the disk or formatting the disk. If you erase it, this results in the error of Parallels not being able to access the partition, however if you click 'format', somehow this now works!

    Hope this helps someone :)
