    As mentioned in https://kb.parallels.com/cn/130167:
macOS Sequoia 15 as a virtual machine
2 Can't sign in to iCloud on a macOS virtual machine on Apple Silicon Macs
Fixed in macOS 15 beta 3. Update both Mac and virtual machine to macOS 15 beta 3
We should be able to log in to iCloud when both the macOS is above macOS 15 beta 3

I'm using the 15.1 Beta 6 (24B5070a) on both the virtual machine and the host (The virtual machine is newly installed, not updated from old version).
The parallels desktop version is 20.1.0 (55732), by far the newest version.

When I first installed the virtual machine, I was able to log in to iCloud.
But when I installed the parallel desktop tools and rebooted the virtual machine, there was a warning asking me to enter the iCloud password again otherwise some iCloud funtions would be unavailable. I entered the password, but the "Verification Failed An unknown error occured" continues to pop up.
I deleted the virual machine and installed again, but this time the "Verification Failed An unknown error occured" continues to pop up every time I tried to login.

OK, I've updated both Host and VM to macOS 15.2 and I still get the same error on two iCloud ids for both App Store and iCloud. Is anyone else getting this and if so has anyone got it to work?

    Thanks in advance,
    Shawn

After several attempts, I've found that the following conditions might allow you to log in to iCloud normally (excluding the App Store, which cannot log in natively):
    1. Ensure that the host machine and the virtual machine are running the same version; I am currently using macOS 15.1.1 (24B91) on both.
    2. It's likely that you won't be able to log in on the initial setup screen after installation; you can skip this step.
    3. Important! Make sure the Apple ID on the host machine matches the one you're planning to use on the virtual machine (I logged out of the Apple ID on the virtual machine that could log in to Apple ID normally and tried to log in with a different Apple ID, which failed. I'm not sure if Apple has any restrictions in place).
    4. When attempting to log in through settings, you might encounter an "Unknown error" message. In this case, try logging in again; if it works, it usually only takes about three attempts. If you can't log in after three tries, it's likely that you won't be able to log in at all.

    经过多次尝试,我发现下述情况可能可以正常登录iCloud(不包括App Store,App Store原生不能登录)

By the way, the above method is tested on both MacBook Air M3 and Mac mini M4

Thank you very much taking the time to reply. For the above:

Note I am on an intel MacBook Pro 15" 2018 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7.

    1) Both are running macOS 15.2 (I did have 15.1 but that had the same problem so I waited for 15.2)
    2) Correct It didn't so I check "try later" which is where I'm at
    3) I've tried the same id on Host/Client, Different id's, Host logged out - all are the same iCloud and App Store will not sign in but the Web interface via Safari will
    4) I tried 6 time and get the same thing each time.
I think there is a fundamental problem with Parallels accessing the Secure Enclave from the client but I may be wrong.
