    Hi,
My fan is always running and battery drains fast on MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7 with 32 GB RAM.
    I have Parallels Desktop v15 running Windows 10 x64.

I feel like I have tried everything. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Dan

I have the same issue. I'm running a MacBook Pro 16" with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD. Parallels works, but every time I run it the fan on my machine WILL NOT STOP from going full blast. I have checked the KB article here, but nothing in my Activity Monitor nor in the Windows guest OS is utilizing more than 100% of the CPU. In fact I cannot even find a `pr_vm_app` item in either OS.

I've had to install MacsFanControl to try and settle it down, but it would be nice if Parallels actually considered how users work with their software. Having the fan run full blast because of a software you produced is not good, nor is it good QA. Please, can you offer any suggestion to stop the fan from running so loudly aside from that KB article I referenced?
