I have a bitlocker USB hard drive that I use in Windows under Parallels, often I need to access these files from OS X too. Unfortunately, the disk never seems to automatically show up in OS X's Finder after being unlocked. I have found that disabling and enabling the option for 'Shortcuts to Virtual Disks on Mac Desktop' in my VM's Configuration menu will mount the external drive. It would be nice if newly mounted disks would automatically appear in Finder when this option is enabled. Thank you for your consideration.
