Hello,
I own a Yubikey 4 and need to sign in every day to a service which requires U2F.
To see what a Yubikey is: https://www.yubico.com/products/yubikey-hardware/
The problem is that my Yubikey works in my Windows Guest OS in OTP mode -- which means the one-time password is properly forwarded by Parallels into my Windows Guest OS -- but not in U2F mode. Nothing happens in U2F mode and it does not detect my Yubikey.
More background on what U2F is: https://www.yubico.com/about/background/fido/
"U2F is an open authentication standard that enables internet users to securely access any number of online services, with one single device, instantly and with no drivers, or client software needed.
U2F was created by Google and Yubico, and support from NXP, with the vision to take strong public key crypto to the mass market. Today, the technical specifications are hosted by the open-authentication industry consortium known as the FIDO Alliance. U2F has been successfully deployed by large scale services, including Gmail, Dropbox, GitHub, Salesforce.com, the UK government, and many more."
Yubico provides a test section on their site:
Is support for U2F in a Windows Guest OS planned in Parallels? Thanks a lot!
