Trying to install some compilers on Parallels (Build 9.0.24172 3-dec-2013) running Fedora 19.
The drive was "Expanding 64GB, and the windows side shows (12.94 GB on disk)
The compilers say "Installed Space Required 5.5GB"

But when I try to install the
"Not enough disk space for selected components"

Then when I try to make the Parallels Disk non-expanding, I get:
"An internal error occured whil eperforming the operation"

    Any insights would be appreciated.

    Hi Holmz,

You would need to resize the file system and increase size of the Virtual Disk by following the steps below:

    1. Start Parallels Desktop but do not start your Virtual machine or shut it down if it is running.
    2. In Parallels Desktop menu bar please click on Window menu to open the drop-down list
    3. Click on Virtual Machines List
    4. In the Virtual Machines List that shows up right-click on your Virtual machine and choose Configure
    5. Go to Hardware tab, open Hard Disk 1 and click Edit.
    6. Please select the new size of the Virtual Machine. Check "Resize file system" and click Apply.
    7. A progress bar will appear and then your Virtual Hard Drive will be resized.

To increase virtual disk of a Windows Virtual Machine, follow: http://kb.parallels.com/113972

    Thanks,
    Looran
