Hi, I'm new to Parallels Desktop for Mac, and I have the latest 4.0 version of the application. I could run a few games not listed in the compatibility section, yet FIFA 09 failed to run despite its predecessors FIFA 07 and FIFA 08 listed as working. A (spanish?) notification pops up which essentially states that my graphics card is not supported by FIFA 09. Whilst I understand my MacBook's GeForce 9400M is not being activated within the Windows environment, may I know if there is a way to run the application? Surely a FIFA 09 does not require a vastly more superior graphics card than FIFA 08?
FIFA 09 requires support for Pixel Shaders 3.0: http://www.fifa09.ea.com/uk/readnews/entryid/25739 Parallels Desktop supports Shaders 2.0: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/sr/ And as you mentioned FIFA 09 is not in the list of supported games, it means that there were no compatibility tests with Parallels Desktop virtual machines yet.
