I just did a Firmware Update to 1.5 on my MacBook Pro. Immediately afterwards, my Parallels package refuses to start. I can open the program and navigate the upper Mac menu bar, but once pressing START, it's all over. Anyone else having this problem?
UPDATE - Restored to a Snapshot - Parallels hung for 20 minutes while restarting to the Snapshot - all appears fine now. UPDATE - Crashed again. UPDATE 2 - The hang appears to involve the CD-ROM connection. When I disable the CD-ROM, I get warnings about Parallels Tools, but everything works normally. Activate CD-ROM, and everything hangs.
I am 5584 and there is a later one too but I avoided bootcamp and stick with 10.4.11 so can not be of further help Hugh W
