    Hello!
I, like a number of others at the moment, am running both bootcamp and parallels. I'd like to use parallels to access my bootcamp partition as per the amazing advances reported in beta version 3036. Alas, because I originally set up my bootcamp with multiple partitions (1= OSX, 2=shared fat32 partition accessible by both osx and xp, and 3= windows xp) Parallels won't recognize that I do indeed have a bootcamp partition. (Neither does the apple bootcamp utility; one of the drawbacks to geeking around with more than two partitions.)

BUT I think there's a way you can help me and others like me out:

If you have gotten parallels 3036 working with a bootcamp partition, please humor me and take the time to either post the small .pvs file to this thread OR do an "open with" on your working bootcamp .pvs file, open the file with textedit, and copy and paste its contents to this thread. With any luck, this will help give an idea of how to direct paralles to an existing but for whatever reason unaccessible bootcamp partition that some of us have.

Hopefully this will help people like me who have the "use boot camp" option grayed out.

Hmm... nevermind, I suppose even this won't work. I had some initial success getting around the grayed out "use boot camp" option, but it looks like parallels just won't start on a machine it determines doesn't have bootcamp installed the "proper" way...
...guess I'll have to wait until if/when they make either parallels and/or bootcamp more flexible and friendly to multiple partition setups.
