I am curious to know how Windows 10 will activate if I reformat my Mac which currently has macOS Sierra, Windows 10, bootcamp and Parallels 11 installed, activated and working. Will Windows 10 know that it has already been authorized and associated with this iMac, or will there be issues since it is running in a virtual machine in Parallels?

I am assuming that since Windows 10 first gets installed on bootcamp and then gets associated with that install in Parallels 11, that there will be no issues. Is this correct? It also looks as if this could be a non-issue with the Windows 10 anniversary update (http://www.howtogeek.com/226510/how...10-license-after-changing-your-pc’s-hardware/) but I'd like to be sure before I reformat and reinstall.

Thanks for any insight into this matter.
