For the longest time I have been looking for a webcam that actually works on a Mac Pro OSX 10.4. Logitech just released a $100 webcam called QuickCam Ultra Vision. It is one of the very few camcorders that work under OSX 10.4. Now the problem is getting it to work under Vista via Parallels. As instructed, I installed the Logitech software (Vista capable) and then plugged in the webcam to my USB port. I went to DEVICES in Parallels and enabled the Logitech camera that was already listed there. Problem is, though Vista detected the USB connection and installed the drivers, it will not detect the webcam itself. Is this a problem with the current version of Parallels (3170) or is there something I am doing wrong here? Looking forward to hearing from those that might have an answer.
