I've encountered a problem with Parallels for the Mac. The reason I purchased this software is for one purpose only: to run a custom-written application I have used since 1997. It was written in Foxpro. I was able to run it on a Mac using VirtualPC. However, when I set it up on Parallels, I initially receive a message that "File A1 can't be found" followed by persistent messages that "File A2 can't be found" which renders my program virtually useless. I had first installed Windows 7 into Parallels. Because my copy of VirtualPC ran WindowsXP, I next loaded XP onto Parallels in case the operating system was causing the problem, but experienced the same error message. If I can't run my program using Parallels, this software does me no good. Any ideas or help you can provide? Thanks. John
Works in vmware In the meantime, I've downloaded the trial version of vmware Fusion and my application runs perfectly on Windows 7. I would hate to think I've wasted my money on purchasing Parallels, but if no one can help me with this it looks like I will have to purchase a copy of Fusion and go that route. John
