    Trying to get an gui up and running but having trouble getting a driver to work correctly via xorgconfig


    can anyone lend me a helping hand on this? or point me to some online resources about getting it to work correctly.

    put here xorg.conf , or try to change resolution from 24 to 16

    to be honest with you I guessed with my xorgconfig settings, do you have the correct settings that I should use?

    I did try kicking it down from 24 to 16 and still the same issues.

    I run a Macbook Pro 15'

    with:

    Actually I just installed FreeBSD, and didn't perform any manual changes in X.
    it is working out of the box, just make sure you installed x11,
    run sysinstall an select x11, you can also select gnome or xfce, kde whatever you are preferring
