Due to a corrupt version of Windows 10, I am having the pleasure of setting up my VM again. I don't have a problem printing from Mac or Windows, but when I try to scan a document at the printer it only recognizes the Mac. It isn't recognizing Windows as it did previously. Please assist as I use this daily for scanning things for work.

Hi Ajith, yes I am using an HP printer-scanner. I use the same type of printer at home and in the office. I had to reinstall the printer software at home and the office on the Windows side to get the printer-scanner to see my laptop. Not sure if this is the correct way, but it is working now. Just didn't understand why if printing worked, scanning didn't
Yes it is thank you. When I hit the scan button on my printer, it now shows the Mac side to scan to as well as the Windows side as separate computers.
