Frozen at Installation

Hi, this might be in the wrong section and if it is, I apologize.

I'm installing Windows XP through Parallels (I like the classics!) and it's "frozen". I can still move my mouse around when at fullscreen so I know it's not totally frozen, but the installation bar is stuck halfway through "Installing Devices" and the estimated time of completion has read "35 minutes" for much longer than 35 minutes.
