FSX activation issue

I am running Parallels 9 up to date, and MS Flight Simulator X, up to date too, but it won't let me activate it.
Does anyone know what could be the issue? Would the software think I'm running it from an external hard drive?
Does anybody run FSX in Parallels without any issues?

Hi Joe,
I think I've seen that problem before, in my case I had to activate it via phone , but it has nothing to do with parallels but the number of times you already activates it before.
if you activate it by phone it will reset the counter and you'll be able to activate it again by internet

Frank, thank you. I just installed this product, out of the wrapped box from the store! So it has never been activated before. But I guess I'll have to call them anyways now.
