Sometimes (i'm not sure how/when) i'm in full screen mode .. when I move the mouse to the top of the desktop-window, i don't get the usual parallels menu / menu items (file/edit/view..etc) .. but some other overlay .. that has a page fold in the top right corner .. and it says "Show Menu" or something. It's _really_ annoying. Is there any way to stop that overlay from showing? Because it sorta messes things up and .. locks (??) the menu-toolbar at the top and i can't hide it. Anyone can help me, please?
Hi Justin, In order to disable the menu bar, please follow the steps below: Open Virtual machine configure >> Option tab >> Full Screen >> Select Active screen corners >> From all the four options select "Exit full screen".
Hi Dhruba - thanks heaps for the time to reply. I don't think i explained myself clearly I'm happy with the -normal- file menu => FILE | EDIT | VIEW | ACTIONS .. and want that to stay there when i move my mouse to the TOP of the monitor/desktop. Sweet! I'm -not- happy when (for some unknown and random reason) a _different_ overlay appears at the top ... which is a big fat blank line/bar .. nothing on it .. except the top RIGHT corner (like a page tear) that says "SHOW MENU". 1. Why does that weird line/bar only show sometimes? 2. How can i get rid of it / stop it form every appearing? 3. Leave my FILE | EDIT | VIEW .. etc .. alone. I want that to display, when I move the mouse to the top of the desktop. (i'm not sure how the active corners will stop that weird empty black bar from appearing -- it looks like those active corners will just take my VM _OUT_ of full screen (which is not what I want)).
