Is there any way i can still use my Razer mouse with PC razer mouse drivers in Parallels? When I try to open the Razer control panel in an XP VM, it says there is no device connected. I assume this is because of the generic Razer driver taking over. Any way to force the VM to use the Razer driver, and still be able to move in and out of a Windowed XP VM to the mac desktop and Vise versa? If not what are my options? Thanks! AJB
I'm having trouble with this as well. Did you ever solve it? I'm trying to get make the Windows 7 driver recognize my Razer Imperator, but I can't get it to detect anything. I contacted Razer, and they said it's probably something with Parallels that's preventing the detection process. I tried this a few years ago, and it worked perfectly. I really don't want to have to partition my hard drive and install Windows via bootcamp.
No, the mouse lights up and it is functional in Mac OS and in the Windows 7 virtual machine. The pointer moves, and I can click. However, when I open the Razer Imperator mouse driver, the driver says it can't detect a Razor mouse. The only way you can program the mouse buttons is through the Windows Razer Imperator driver, hence my problem. As soon as you program the buttons, the mouse will stay programmed that way no matter what computer you plug it into. This driver was fully functional a few years ago under Parallels, so I don't understand why the newer version of Parallels is having problems with it.
