I am having difficulties getting the Garmin ANT+ agent to work under Parallels. When the USB ANT+ stick is plugged in, Windows keeps telling me that it cannot recognise the USB device. Running 10.5.7, Windows Vista with all updates and service packs, Parallels 4 with all updates.
Same here I am getting the exact same error - I can boot into BootCamp directly and it works fine, but using via Parallels gives the windows error message about "unrecognized device". Any thoughts??
For now I download from my Garmin 310XT and collect the data from the folder for manual import into SportTracks on WIndoze.
From the Garmin Forums - unplug the ANT stick from the Mac, open a terminal window and run the following: sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/SiLabsUSBDriver.kext Fire up Parallels and Windoze and you'll be in business. The problem with Parallels and the ANT Agent is the ANT Stick driver at: /System/Library/Extensions/SiLabsUSBDriver.kext prevents Parallels from accessing the device. I have heard before that all is well under Boot Camp. Unfortunately I cannot get Boot Camp to fire up from my Vista DVD so don't have that option. Thanks heavens for Time Capsule!!
