After update from 7.3 to Version 10.0.0 (1166): Update in our environment has been completed without issues. I just noticed one thing which is not often in my opinion, gateway remains in status checking. Otherwise everything works fine, backup machine and agents on terminal servers have status verified, ok. Maybe someone knows how to solve it?
Hi there, Are you using port 80? Have you tried to use another port for the 2X Client Gateway port? Try to use port 81 instead for example and re-check. If you do not manage to start the service, you should check that 2X client gateway service is installed properly. Open the Windows Services Console and check the status of the service. Make sure that "2XProxyGateway.exe" is in place. If not I would suggest to uninstall and reinstall everything. When installing using Multiple Servers; one should not forget to choose the 2X Client Gateway if needed. If you do not manage to start the 2X client gateway check the event log for more information. Also check with the latest version 10.1.1227 ( http://www.2x.com/downloads/#appserver). Else please open a support ticket to support@2x.com Thanks
We are using port 80, but change of port nothing changes Whole environment works fine, we have more than 200 clinet sessions enstablished all the time. After reinstalation of gateway, even whole application including agents on terminal serwers the result is the same. In system event log there is notnig interesting, only in 2x log i get every 5 min message "Gateway timout" code 05/00000003D - this is only one change comparing to 2x log from previous version of our 2x installation (7.3). There is no hurry because clients can work, can use applications as always, but question is what is causing this checking state. I can not update environment to newer version then Version 10.0.0 (1166), because our upgrade insurance has expired. We have 1 gateway, 1 backup, 9 terminal servers servicing applications, 250 client sessions. daniel
