Getting alt + F4 to close windows applications

Is there any way to use alt + F4 on a macbook pro to close windows applications without turning off all of the mac keyboard shortcuts? On the macbook, alt + F4 opens expose and spaces preferences. When I map that key combination to the Windows side in parallels preferences, the mac side takes precedence. I don't know if there is any way to remove the mac keyboard shortcut for this as I don't see it on the list in the apple system preferences.
