Getting Coherence to work?

    Since I've update Coherance has stopped working. In the Parallels Tools Centre (or Center) it is set to Disabled and greyed out.

    I've tried the following twice and its not working:

    1. Uninstall old version of Parallels tools, reboot VM.
    2. Start Menu --> Run --> sc delete "parallels coherence service"
    3. Reinstall Parallels tools, reboot VM.


    Help appreciated.

    Hi,

    Sorry if you have followed the FAQ steps, but you didnt say if you have done the "cohrence install" from the command line.. Not sure if youve done the last step here.. ??


    * Make sure latest Parallels Tools are installed. The easiest way is to reboot Windows and make sure you don't see a message offering to upgrade Parallels Tools.
    * Open Start->Run menu and issue the sc delete "parallels cohrence service" command.
    * Reboot Windows.
    * Open Start->Run menu, type cmd and press Enter. In the console opened issue the "C:\Program Files\Parallels\Parallels Tools\cohrence" install command
