Hi All, I have a 2015 rMBP i5 2.9 16GB RAM 512GB SSD. How does memory added to the GPU equate to performance? The UI / webscrolling in Windows 10 is a little bit sluggish. Should I bump up graphics RAM? Does it make a difference? Anything else I can do?
Hi AndrewA1, Parallels makes every effort to provide both your Mac and the virtual machine with the best performance. *The amount of memory your virtual machine will use can be devided into 3 parts: the virtualization overhead, the "main" memory, which works as "RAM" as such inside the virtual machine, and the video memory. *In general, Windows and other operating systems are not adapted for such high pixel density(retina). However Parallels Desktop provides enhanced Retina display support for Windows 7 and Windows 8 virtual machines. *Please follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/114700 to fix screen resolution issue in Windows 10 virtual Machine for your retina display. If you have any more questions with regard to this issue, please feel free to write back to us. We will be happy to help you.
