I have a MacBook Pro 2010 13 inch system with a boot camp set up running Windows 7 (32 bit). I installed the Parallels eval version a few weeks ago to try it out and some time after that when booting into Windows natively (not as a VM), the Nvidia graphics driver would fail to load. The Mac side seems to have no issues.

I uninstalled the Parallels tools from both sides (Windows and Mac), and reinstalled the Nvidia driver but this issue still comes up intermittently. I noticed yesterday that when I pull up the Windows Experience Index and select the detailed system information, it shows the graphics info as a "Parallels Display Adapter (WDDM)". If I have uninstalled Parallels, why does this still show up? I'm afraid that something is lingering from the Parallels install that could be causing the Nvidia driver issues I'm seeing. Is there a way to ensure that all Parallels files are completely gone?

    Thanks,

After refreshing the Windows Experience Index, the info has refreshed and no longer shows Parallels, so I no longer think it's causing the graphics driver issue.
