System: iMac 27" Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13.1 (latest updates) Parallels 13 (latest updates). Windows 10 VM (latest updates) I have one CAD program (CEREC SW 4.5.1) that will shut down when ever the Graphic interface loads. I can get it to start when I select Windows 7 compatibility, but when I load a job, it stops and closes the program. The SW manufacturer has gotten it to work on a laptop by disabling IntelOpenCL. My computer uses AMD Radeon, not Intel for the graphics adapter. My display settings in Windows are compatible with the program. By Parallels settings are: 1GB (recommended), Scaled, DirectX 10 with Vertical Synchronization. I have tied DirectX 9, and no acceleration both with and without Vertical Sync. Before I changed to Windows 7 compatibility, the program would only load the interface with No acceleration selected. In the Windows display manager, Parallels WDDM is there and is working properly. I have not tried to disable Parallels WDDM. This behavior is the same whether in Windows Full Screen, a Windows window, or coherence mode. This program worked fine with Parallels 11 and Parallels 12. This seems to be a Parallels issue. Any ideas / comments?
Hi @Cinemagic , please clear all the temp file on your Windows virtual machine and then try Actions > Reinstall Parallels Tools and check if that works.
I did clear all temp files on the VM. I installed the Parallels Update (out today) and re-installed Parallels Tools. That didn't do the trick. I still get the crash when the graphics loads.
