I found a decent deal on a retail disc for GTA IV but was wondering if this will work in Parallels 10. I've had some issues running Minecraft (kept crashing) but other games like Truck Sim work great. My MacBook model is the latest 15" retina MacBook Pro and I'm using Parallels 10 with a Windows 8 VM (2 cpus / 2GB RAM / 512MB Video Memory / 3Dacc on DirectX 10 / Retina enabled) with OS X specs in attached screenshot Thanks in advance!
Hi ThibaultM, Yes, it should work with the configuration of your Mac. If you still have issues with playing Games in Windows Virtual Machine, please follow the instructions suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/122485 to optimize Windows for Games and check how it goes.
To answer my own question: this is working great with my setup. Only problem are the shadows of cars (but I also have this in Truck Sim), this is probably due to the GPU being emulated instead of natively used.
