    Hi everyone!

Im currently trying to run GTA V on a virtualised Windows 10 with Parallels 11, and although the game launches successfully, the performance is really bad with an awful framerate.

My system is a late 2013 27" iMac with the following specs:
    3.4Ghz i5
    24GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce GTX775M 2GB
    3TB Fusion Drive

At first launch the colours were all wrong and the game unplayable. After some research I applied the "video.const_buffer_mode = 2" Boot Flag which fixed the colour issue and made the game "playable", but still with truly awful performance, despite lowest game graphics settings and 1280x720 resolution.

I dedicated 4 CPUs (also tried with 2), 8GB of RAM and 1GB of graphics memory (also tried with 1.5GB) to the virtual machine.

Has anyone managed to make this game run on Parallels to a satisfying level of performance (even just on the lowest graphics settings)?

Any suggestion on what I could do (other than BootCamp, which I'd rather avoid) to at least be able to play? (I have access to previous versions of Windows and Parallels 10 if that would somehow make a difference)

    Thanks

Hello, It seems that you're on outdated build of Parallels Desktop 11, please update Parallels Desktop to the latest build 11.1.1 (32312). You can update to the latest build as suggested in this article. Latest version always available here: http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd11/ Please note that Parallels Tools also needs to be updated (Actions > Update Parallels Tools). Please see this article to know more about Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac updates summary.

Hi Paul, thanks for your reply.
I already have the latest updates, for OSX, Windows and Parallels, I actually made sure everything was up to date before attempting to run the game. The issue must be coming from something else.
