Guest OS Harddisc full / psf drives me insane

Hi all,
my guest system, windows 7, is running with a 64 GB virtual harddisc. Windows indicates, there are 2 GB of remaining disc space.
Since i setup that OS X and Windows folders are shared (i mean that the folders on my OS X Desktop appear on my Windows Desktop [like .psf\home\Desktop]) i was wondering if this affects the storage of the virtual harddisc, too? i can not find big files elsewhere on the guest OS harddisc. So is this correct? thank you
