    Hello all,

I'm looking for some hints or a solution to a problem that occurs at least twice a day and is random. I run a Windows 2k3 (2cpu/2Gb mem) and an Ubuntu 10 server (1cpu/1Gb mem) as Guest VMs. For no apparent reason, networking to these machines just stops. At which point, the only solution I have found so far is to:

    -nicely shutdown the VMs
    -quit Parallels Desktop
    - open Terminal
    - Stop the DispatcherService from cli
    - Kill prl_naptd proxy (which then automatically restarts under a new process)
    - Start the DispatcherService
    - start Parallels Desktop
    - start my VMs

I have an i7 MacBook Pro with 8Gb running OS X 10.7.2 and Parallel Desktop for Mac 6 Build 6.0.12106. I use shared networking with statically assigned addresses and a tiny DHCP range in case I want to start any other VMs. The Mac is always on AC not battery when I use Parallels and the power mode is set to never sleep while it has AC.

Is there some setting I need to tweak to keep the network proxy alive? The above procedure takes forever and is a complete nuisance. TIA for any help.
