I've been using Paralles for about 4 months now. Recently, I upgraded to Build 1970. When I went to install Parallels tools, it hangs on "Installing Parallels Network Adapter". I waited a long time - an hour - and nothing happened. I can force quit, but that's about it. I have no internet access in my VM. When I try to enable the connection, I get "failed". I've tried: 1. Restarting my mac. 2. Installing Parallels toold manualls (by mounting the image and launching PTStart. 3. Reparing permissions on my mac. 4. Defragmenting my windows disc with Image Tools. 5. Reinstalling Parallels I don't realy mind re-installing Windows XP, if that's what it takes. But I really need to de-authorize a few applications before doing so, otherwise I will have licensing issues. But, with no internet access in Parallels, I can't. So, I don't know if installing the Parallels Tools is the answer or part of the problem. Thanks for the help. MBP 2.16 / 2gb RAM Parallels 1970 Windows XP SP2
