Running older games in Parallels with any success? Specifically I'm trying to run Worms Armageddon. It switches resolutions but then displays a black sceen with what looks like an empty image box. I know Parallels isn't meant to support many games, but I thought I remember hearing it supported DirectX 7 or something.
Have you checked DirectX support in configuration editor? This might be usefull also to increase Video Memory allocated to Virtual Machine. Press Apple button, double click on Parallels Desktop application(launch it) and hold on this button till Parallels main menu appears. Then you may access Configuration Editor and change the settings. Enable DirectX support in Video option and increase video memory in Memory option.. Best Regards!
