Hi, I seem to be in a rather unique situation. I have a BootCamp partition (really, I do). I setup my Parallels Virtual Machine to use the partition, and let Parallels install Windows for me (SOOO much easier). However, it's not bootable by the OpenFirmware. Does anybody know how to make the installation of Windows currently on the Boot Camp partition bootable by the firmware?
I am not sure if you will be able to boot using Boot Camp unless you set up the partition using Boot Camp. I wonder if you install Windows from the CD and select your Windows partition as the destination if it would be bootable. The way you set it up is sort of backwards from how it was designed. Using Boot Camp and a bootable Windows CD/DVD is actually quite easy and installs all the drivers for the Apple unique hardware (camera, lighted keyboard, etc.) that the generic install does not support. After you have a bootable Boot Camp partition Parallels can set it up to boot from it in 15 minutes or so automatically. I made a Boot Camp partition and the set up Parallels one evening while watching TV.
