    Hi,
Let me first describe my situation, hardware and software wise:
I have a couple of Samsung Portable SSD's of various sizes that I used in the past to store VM's. One of them contains a Win 10 Professional VM. As I need a running windows machine for a training starting tomorrow, I set out to try and run this Win 10 VM.
It booted allright, and I got notified of the need to update Parallels Tools, which was impossible due to Windows being too old etc.
So I set out to update this Windows 10 VM. It took literally hours to get all the updates installed, but finally this worked.

    Now to my problem:
I know that out of the box, by default Parallels sets up an "inbetween" network in the IP range of 10.xx.xx.xx. But I want my VM to be able to directly communicate with network partners in my local network range (printers etc) so I chose "bridged", and then I selected the default NIC.
Windows 10 settings showed that my IP was indeed within the range, but the VM reported to have no network. I was also unable to ping other machines on the network. Opening a CMD prompt and issuing "ipconfig -all" did show an IP within the desired range, nevertheless the VM had no network.

I tried all other options one by one, but was never able to get networking to function.
What options do I have to fix this?

    Software info:
    - macOS Monterey
    - Parallels 18.3.2 - 53621
    - win 10 Professional
    Hardware info:
    - macbook intel i9, 15" model 2019
