Hi. I am an electronic musician and I am currently touring in Asia with a 2.0ghz Core2Duo macbook. I used Parallels 3120 with my Bootcamp Windows XP Pro, which I use for live music performance. Needless to say, it totally screwed my Bootcamp Windows beyond anything that a traditionally intense command line recovery from a boot cd using the Windows\Repair\ dir copied to System32\Config, and afterward booting in and doing a system restore to a date prior to the Parallels install. Unfortunately, restoring Windows back to a date prior to the Parallels installation doesn't fix my OS. I spent days now trying to fix what Parallels has done to my system. I need to know specific details about what files and settings Parallels changes and renames and so on so that I can fix what it is done. I've been a professional PC tech for almost a decade, and I've never encountered anything as evasively difficult to repair as what Parallels has done to my Bootcamp Windows. Please provide us all a way to fix our corrupted Bootcamp installs! Thanks so much!
