    i have installed windows7 using boot camp 3.1 before installing parallels

    right after the installation of parallels desktop 6 completed, bootcamp just disappeared from finder,
    and the disk tools show that bootcamp disk is unloaded.

    i can't start windows by reboot or by parallels desktop now
    and i have some important files on bootcamp disk..

    ANYBODY HELP ME????

    Hello.

    Try to mount your bootcamp partition using Disk Utility.app:
    1. Boot MacOS
    2. Make sure Parallels Desktop 6 is not running
    3. Open Disk Utility.app
    4. Find bootcamp partition on the right panel
    5. Right click -> mount
    6. You should see it mounted in Finder now

    When start Windows natively what error do you get ?

    Thanks for your advice.. I have re-installed windows from bootcamp though...

    and i have tried to mount bootcamp disk using disk utility, but it didn't work. i got a error message that file system couldn't be found, and i was sure that parallels were not running at the time.
    when i tried to boot from windows by pressing alt, i got the message "a disk read error..." and it can't even proceed to the windows logo.

    anyway thanks for your kindly reply
