At my work we are required to have all our thumb drives encrypted. I have an encrypted 8gb thumb drive which I can use my encryption password to log into and get files off it on my parallels desktop, but I can't copy files onto it. When I try to copy the files onto it via drag and drop or menu selection I get the following error: "An error occurred whilst copying 'FILENAME' to E:\'. The filename, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect." Obviously FILENAME is a substitute for any file /directory I try to copy. I am running Parallels Desktop for Mac version 8.0.18483 iMac 27" (late 2012) 3.4Ghz i7, 32Gb 1600Mhz ddr3 RAM, running OSX 10.8.3 I have tried with different thumb drives with the same problem. I also installed Windows XP and the same problem occurred. The drive is encrypted with: Endpoint Security Media Encryption EPM Explorer v8.10.7203 from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Carta Blanca
